Endowment & Planned Giving

Endowment

A gift to DRAA’s Endowment Fund is a significant and exciting way to sustain the future of the arts and entertainment, educational programming and community events at the Lesher Center for the Arts and for the East Bay Community. Thanks to the generosity of DRAA Board members, benefactors, and donors, DRAA has established a 1 million dollar endowment fund.

By contributing to our endowment you can play a special role in the future of the arts in our area and receive tax benefits as well. Endowment gifts can be made in your name or in remembrance of a friend or family member and can be structured to reflect your interests as well as serve as an enduring acknowledgment to your love of the arts.

Planned Giving

Our Planned Giving program offers donors an opportunity to participate in the future of quality arts and entertainment at the Lesher Center in a very meaningful way. By designating the DRAA as a beneficiary of your estate through your will, trust, retirement plan or insurance, you will help to strengthen the organization’s foundation and secure its financial health so that audiences may continue to enjoy thrilling arts, entertainment and educational programming at the Lesher Center for years to come.

A planned gift can often times provide immediate general support, or you can choose to designate your gift to our Endowment Fund. Your gifts can be made in your name or in remembrance of a friend or family member and can be structured to reflect your interests as well as serve as an enduring acknowledgement to your love of the arts.

Make a Bequest:

This is one of the simplest ways for you to provide for the future of the arts at the LCA. Your gift can be made for a percentage of your estate, a specific dollar amount, specific property, or for what remains after your loved ones have been taken care of.

Contribute Life Insurance:

Through financial growth and changing circumstances, a particular life insurance policy may no longer be considered necessary and can make an excellent charitable gift. The DRAA can be designated as both the owner and beneficiary of the policy, whether it is paid in full or if future premiums remain due.

Donate Retirement Funds:

Due to potential taxation concerns that can significantly diminish the value of your retirement account, you may find it beneficial to name the DRAA as the beneficiary recipient of your 401(K), 403(b), IRA, or other qualified pension plan.

We welcome outright gifts of cash, check credit card, stock gifts or Planned Gifts to our esteemed Coffee Circle, named in honor of the leadership and vision of Angie and Pete Coffee.
